Regardless of your iOS version, see “How to remove calendar spam on your iPhone in earlier versions of iOS“ here.

1. Decline the Event:

- Open the unwanted calendar event.

- Tap "Decline" to remove it from your calendar. This won't delete the event entirely, but it will decline your attendance.

2. Check for Shared Calendars:

- Make sure you don't have any shared calendars that may be contributing to the unwanted events. Go to the Calendar app, tap "Calendars" at the bottom, and check for any shared calendars. If there are, consider removing them.

3. Create a New Calendar:

- Create a new calendar specifically for these spam events. Move the unwanted events to this new calendar.

- After moving them, you can delete the entire calendar, which should remove the spam events.

4. Revoke Calendar Permissions:

- Go to Settings > Privacy > Calendars.

- Review the list of apps that have access to your calendar. Revoke access for any suspicious or unnecessary apps.

5. Unsubscribe if Possible:

- Open the Calendar app and tap "Calendars" at the bottom.

- Check if there's an option to unsubscribe or remove the calendar associated with the spam events.

6. Update iOS:

- Ensure your iPhone is running the latest version of iOS. Updates often include bug fixes and improvements that can address issues like unwanted calendar events.

7. Report Spam:

- If the unwanted events are coming from a specific email address, report it as spam in your email app. This may help prevent further spam calendar events.

8. Contact Apple Support:

- If none of the above steps resolve the issue, consider reaching out to Apple Support for further assistance. They may have additional recommendations or be able to provide insights into the specific problem.

Remember to exercise caution when interacting with unfamiliar calendar events or links to prevent potential security risks. Always ensure that your iOS software, apps, and security settings are up to date to minimize vulnerabilities.
