Backing up 2023 MacBook Air to existing OWC hard drive
Trying to connect a new 2023 MacBook Air to an older OWC Mercury Elite Pro external hard drive, but can't identify a cable or adapter that works on both ends, can anyone help?

The MacBook Air uses USB-C type connectors. You need a cable or adapter that fits the older OWC Mercury Elite Pro external hard drive, whose connectors you did not describe. If you don't know how to identify them, contact OWC. They will probably have the cable or connector you require.
