Using CarPlay on 2024 Mazda CX-30 with iPhone 15 Pro Max

I got my 2024 Mazda CX-30 and the car only has to USB-C ports. When I tried using the cord that I received with my phone, my car is saying that the USB is not supported. I can't charge my phone or use CarPlay in my car because of this. If my Apple charging wire is not supported, what should I do? Any suggestions would be appreciated, especially if it's from personal experience.

P.S: I tried calling Mazda and they had no idea what I was talking about.

Does your Mazda have the USB C port? If not, you will need a cable that has both USB C and USB A. If it has a USB C port Some of them may be for charging only, so make sure the port you are using has the USB emblem.

Does your CX-30 owners manual discuss Apple Car Play and how it permits connection. Maybe with the iPhone 15 Pro Max, Mazda allows a Bluetooth wireless AirPlay connection.
