ApplePay & Cash -- how to spend?

How can I spend or get the money out of ApplePay? I've had money in there for a year and cant spend it anywhere!!! I only set up the account to accept that one payment, and it's useless.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15

If the funds are in Apple Cash, send to a friend or relative. You can call the support team and ask a check be mailed out.

You need to add a debit card. Add the money from Apple Pay to the debit card. Once money transferred, delete debit from your phone

Pick a charity, and transfer the money to them. That solves all of the problems at once. No money left, no cards, no need to transfer to a linked account, no worries about card security, all solved.

Or you can transfer the cash back to a linked account, per my previous reply here.

Or you can use Apple Pay and select the Apple Cash card as the source of some payment for goods or services, as well.

I appreciate the reply and the info, and this is going to make me sound way older than I actually am, I know, but . . . I don't want to put debit cards onto my phone. I have already put enough personal information on this small device that can easily be hacked, stolen, or lost. I'm done sharing! There has to be more than just these inconvenient options.

Apple, I just want to put the money directly into my bank, which has an app, which is on my iPhone. Or put it on the credit card that's already in my ApplePay wallet! Or, let me simply spend it somewhere. Anytime I choose Apple Pay as a payment option, the cash doesn't even appear. This makes no sense. It is a bad customer experience.

Would you accept vintage video game tokens from a store as a refund for a purchase you returned?
