Missing Pages templates?

Apparently there should be a lot of templates to choose from in Pages, but I can't find them. Help! I've looked everywhere. If they are somehow gone, how would I get them back? Thanks.

When you launch Pages, there should be a Template chooser presented. If you have told Pages to use a specific template in its Preferences/Settings, then it will launch directly to a blank document using that template. The same will happen if you chose File > New.

If you didn't configure a dedicated template, and Pages opens instead to a File chooser (because you have configured iCloud Drive to synchronize with Pages) you can click New Document on that File Chooser and a Template Chooser will appear with all templates included with that version of Pages, and your own custom My Templates selection.

Hi Sue,

As Viking said,

Here is my setting:

With that choice in Preferences/Settings, the option key is your friend.

Menu > File > New > hold down the option key to change New to New from Template Chooser.

Regards,

Ian.
