I have a lot of old phones and laptops. Many are inoperable or I don't have the cords to charge them. Can I just take them all to an Apple Store and trust that they will erase everything since I can't even access the hard drives to erase them?
These are your old devices? I wouldn't worry about your data, if Apple is ok to get them back.
Otherwise, supermarket recycling gear Bin.
If you want get your data back, you might look for appropriate cables before you get rid of them.
