I want to download all the photos i have on a friends iCloud, that belong to his iPad, to a specific photo library i have on my MBPro. Its a library i have named after my friends name, and i will store it to my MBPro because he wants to end his iCloud service.

The easiest thing would be to create a new library in Photos (hold down the option key while opening photos), making it the system library, and syncing to iCloud using their credentials.
Or, create a new user account on your Mac for the friend and then sync the images using Photos.
In both cases, you need to login information of your friend.
I already have my friends library in Photos and yes i can open it by pressing option when Photos opens. The problem is that i cannot place in that library the pics that he has, in his iCloud account.
What can i do to place them from the cloud... to his library?
I hope iam clear on what i want to do... let me know if im not, cause i have a feeling im not very clear on what i wish to do :-D
