iPhone 12 Bluetooth and WiFi not working
My sons 12mini's wifi and bluetooth are not working. The phone has the latest iOS 17.2.1 instlled. Tried shut down restart, and network reset. No luck. He is a bit rough with his stuff, so I haven't ruled that out. Both of these issues started as far he can tell at the same time. Heres what it's not doing.
- Wifi will not turn on. In the settings menu, with wifi tab open, you Can Not toggle it to on. Nothing happens when you tap it. If you goto the drop down on the lock screen, it's shows it's off, you can hit the wifi icon and it will change to blue, but no "pie" shows up at the top of the screen. If you go back to settings, no change, it's still off like it's locked out.
- Bluetooth is not opening. In the settings menu, with the bluetooth tab open, theres the spinning wheel where the on/off toggle should be. You Can Not turn it off or on in settings. Again on the lock screen the same actions as with wifi result in the same outcome, no change.
The phone has a case on it, but he's a teenager and on it all time. My guess it probably gets dropped at least once a day. He dropped it yesterday, but didn't notice if the issues started immediately thereafter. The cellular services are working still, so wifi isn't as big an issue, but no bluetooth.... that's big issue.. I don't want to buy him a new phone, since this one is just over a year old. Any help would be much appreciated.
