Unable to connect to Wi-Fi or Bluetooth on iPhone 12 after full reset

Has anyone figured out how to fix the WiFi and Bluetooth on iPhone 12? I have gone as far as to completely erase my phone and start it as it’s a brand new phone and can’t get most apps to work or anything that pertains to WiFi or Bluetooth will function. My 5g works but WTH. Why can’t they fix this? My diagnostics setting I figured out how to enter won’t even help because I can’t connect to any WiFi period so it just stays stuck on that page. I’ve set an appt for an Apple Store that’s an hour or more away and they canceled on me the day before. it seems that apple can’t even figure it out.

Start by making sure Airplane Mode is turned off in your settings.

Then try toggling Wi-Fi and Bluetooth off and back on again, either through the Settings app or the Control Center.

You can also try forgetting the Wi-Fi network by going to Settings > Wi-Fi, tapping the “i” next to the network, and selecting “Forget This Network,” then reconnecting.

If that doesn’t help, go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

This clears out any corrupt or conflicting network configurations.

It’s also a good idea to check if other devices can connect to the same Wi-Fi network or Bluetooth device to rule out an issue with the accessory or router.

Make sure your iOS is up to date by checking under Settings > General > Software Update, as new versions may contain important bug fixes.

If you’ve tried all these steps and the issue persists, you might consider performing a DFU (Device Firmware Update) restore, which reinstalls both the firmware and the operating system.

If you’re interested, I can guide you through that. However, if Wi-Fi and Bluetooth remain grayed out or won’t turn on, there could be an underlying hardware issue—especially if the problem began after a reset.

In that case, contacting Apple Support would be the best course of action.
