Card edits aren’t working. Adding a new card with the same number but new expiration date doesn’t work. Removing the old card first doesn’t work because there are subscriptions on it. How do I get a replacement card with updated expiration date entered as my way of making payments.

Sorry, I left out the edit step. Where you see the old expiration date ••/•• tap and when the cursor appears edit the date.
You may need to also update the phone number.
Do you have another card you can add? The card can be removed later once the replacement card is correctly added.
I found a way to remove the card by going into my Wallet and choosing remove card from there. Thanks for all your help. I’m back in business.

iPhone > Settings > Apple ID (Your Name at top of screen) > Payment & Shipping > Tap card you want to replace > update expiration date using following format MM/YYYY using a 4 digit number for year of expiration > update 3 digit CVV security code and phone if requested > Save data change

Yes, exactly.
I tap the card I want to replace and nothing happens. I try tapping Edit at the upper right and it only allows changes to my Name, Address and Phone Number.
it does show the old expiration date field.
I meant it doesn’t show that field
Does the lack of editing the expiration date field have to do with Apple Pay or is it possibly a bug in iOS 17.3?
Can you remove that card as a payment method?
It won’t allow me to remove the card saying it requires this payment method for an active subscription.
