Limited edition challenges
I didn’t receive the unity challenge for February. Did anyone else?

Sadly the logic behind the display of the limited Edition & Daily & Monthly challenge awards appears to have changed in one of the updates. Now the award is not displayed until the target has been reached, which means that unless you happen to know the day when the award is on and what the target is you will not see it unless you happen achieve the target by chance. To test this for yourself wait for the World Environment Day Challenge on 5th June and see if the award shows before you close your Stand Ring.

Idris - That comment was meant for Apple and I should've been clearer when I wrote it. I'm assuming people at Apple are reading these posts because someone said they shared an email address for Apple in their post and that post was deleted and not by the person who wrote it.
No, people from Apple don't read these posts for feedback or suggestions. The Hosts, the only Apple employees who do read them with any regularity are only reading to make sure people stick to the rules. Posting an email address is against the rules. If someone does that and it's reported, the Hosts will remove the or edit the post.
So, addressing comments to Apple here accomplishes little. You can let Apple know your thoughts here:
I completed the feedback form days ago and posted that link after I did it. I'm a firm believer in doing that because, as it has been pointed out in this discussion, if enough people do, maybe they'll listen. I've certainly found that to be the case with Apple and other companies in the past. I've been supporting and working with Apple products since 1988.

Apple timely responding to issues seems to be sporadic. I had an Intel MacBook where the Wi-Fi would repeatedly disconnect a few minutes after booting OS X, but Wi-Fi was rock solid if booting into Windows. I followed the issue up through several levels of customer support and got an answer that it would be fixed eventually. There were more than 100 people on the discussion thread with the same issue. Eventually fixed tuned out to be about two years later. My use of Apple products goes back to 1980 supporting Apple ][ machines used for signal acquisition in a neuroscience lab.
It's unclear to me what this has to do with Limited Edition Challenges.
I’m not sure how closely humans at Apple follow the discussions web site. Hopefully filling out the feedback web page will be more likely to get attention after it makes it past any initial AI filtering.
Apple doesn't read this forum at all for feedback or suggestions. So, if you want them to know your thoughts, the feedback page is the way to go.
But remember, just because you ask for something and Apple reads that request, it doesn't mean Apple will grant the request.

My Point is that Apple most likely doesn’t pay attention to anything on discussions. Even if you do provide feedback or even personally talk to the upper tiers of support, a resolution may not happen right away, if at all.
Yes, that's what I said.

Yes, that's what I said in my post from yesterday. In fact, it's not "most likely". It just doesn't happen.
What I was confused about was your digression into the history of your use of Apple products.
Quick check:
Did anyone see the Limited Edition Challenge for International Women's Day 2024?
At least I haven't, and I am already missing it...
The International Women's Day is on March 8th.
The last year it looked like this:
I wish there was a list of awards each year. I wish the app would give a greater heads up on when limited edition challenges are/will occur. I have notifications on but I never see them. Missed the earth day award even though I closed all my rings but had done multiple smaller workouts rather than one larger one greater than 30min.

You don’t receive them at all?
Or they just escape your attention (i.e.notifications aren’t optimized and you miss them during the narrow window)?

Same. I wouldn’t mind an invite to an iCal event. (Actually, not a bad idea…I need to make that suggestion!)
In any case, here’s a heads up for International Dance Day.
This is post is how I found out there was an Earth Day challenge this year - and I missed it for the same reason 😭.
It’s really rubbish there’s no notification that comes up on the watch or on our phones.
There are notifications. You can set them up with other fitness app notifications. I’m not sure if anyone else already had them set up but stopped receiving them.
This happened to me. Actually, I stopped receiving them around a year ago, but just a few days ago I posted a question on this forum asking for help. I didn’t get a response and hardly any views, so I figured this meant I was an outlier.
Anyways, I think I ended up solving the issue for myself. I’m getting notifications from the fitness app again. I hadn’t even realized that all notifications from the fitness app had ceased. I only noticed that I wasn’t receiving the limited edition notifications. I had missed a few previous challenges and that was annoying. But after troubleshooting, I started receiving notifications about reaching daily goals.
According to a news report I saw announcing International Dance Day Challenge for this year, the badge is scheduled to be visible in the app today (04.27) (I posted screenshots in this thread this morning), and the notification is scheduled for tomorrow (04.28).
Tomorrow will be my first opportunity to test if I’m receiving limited edition challenge notifications from the fitness app. If I do, then I was planning to update my post with the solution just so there would a record…you know, for posterity. lol.
Then, by luck/coincidence, I saw the post from @hseth saying they had notifications set up but missing challenges. It wasn’t clear if they’re not receiving the notifications at all. That’s why I asked about that in my previous post. It’s still not clear to me if other ppl are having this issue. I don’t want to clog up this thread with irrelevant info about solving a problem only I seemed to have. But I can post about it here if I get feedback that it could help others…you know, in the present. 🙃
Heads 🆙 => World 🧘♀️ Day Challenge (info for the upcoming limited edition badge on 2024.05.21)

@lukairure46 What version of ios are you on? This issue seems to have appeared after one of the recent ios 17 updates.
WatchOS 10.5 and 10.4, respectively, for the screenshots above captured today for the upcoming challenge (2024.05.19) and for previously referenced example (2024.04.27). In both cases, the official public (ie, not beta) version that was current at the time of collection.
I think they listened to us because they added two new badges, now they need to add 2 more to make up for removing the Chinese new years badge during the BEST year to have it!
The meditation badge was absurdly easy but the 5K running badge was a surprising challenge. It was really only a challenge because I had hypoxia for 3 weeks so just getting over it made it a bit difficult to run a 5k after not running one for a few months haha. I want more actual challenges to these badges in the future instead of simple things like “close your rings 7 days in a row” or “meet YOUR activity goal for 14 days”…I woke up at 5am, an hour earlier than normal for work so I could get this done to begin my day 😁.
Now we just need more actual challenges like this added to make up for the 3 removed badges. They should have brought back the Mother’s Day badge this year or had a “D-Day Anniversary” badge. That would’ve been a better reason for the 5k run challenge.
That’s weird… I don’t see any badges… today is 10 Feb… I have rabbit for 2023
Thanks. FWIW, I don’t have a Luna New Year limited edition challenge either.
