I didn’t receive the unity challenge for February. Did anyone else?

Sadly the logic behind the display of the limited Edition & Daily & Monthly challenge awards appears to have changed in one of the updates. Now the award is not displayed until the target has been reached, which means that unless you happen to know the day when the award is on and what the target is you will not see it unless you happen achieve the target by chance. To test this for yourself wait for the World Environment Day Challenge on 5th June and see if the award shows before you close your Stand Ring.

No one here in this user-to-user forum would know Apple's plans for the future. All we know is exactly what you know: Apple didn't offer those Limited Challenges this year.

You can let Apple know they're important to you here:

I have reported a “Problem” to Apple via their feedback and support portal:

Product Feedback - Apple

And I kindly suggest to do the same. The more people report this issue, the more likely it will be to get these limited edition challenges back again.

I have written:

Today is February 16, 2024, and I haven’t received the limited edition Chinese Lunar New Year Challenge 2024 (Year of the Dragon) or the Unity Challenge on the Apple Watch this February, which have been offered in previous years.

Only the Heart Month Challenge 2024 was active on February 14, which I successfully completed.

Apparently some other Apple customers have also noticed this problem, see here:

I'm also not sure why Apple doesn't announce that these challenges will be discontinued or when and where they will be available.

I'm really hoping for an update, and to get these very important challenges back from Apple next year. Thanks!

There does seem to be an intermittent glitch in which some category of awards, including the limited edition, will disappear and come back. This glitch has been around for a few years, and it happened to me as recently as earlier today, though the limited edition awards reappeared. But I am sad that none of the ones I expected after ring in the new year has shown up, especially the dragon lunar new year one

Some Limited Edition Challenges are certainly country specific. E.g. the Veterans Day Challenge in the USA.

However, we had the International Women's Day Challenge for at leat five years in Germany. And in most other countries. But now, just dropped without a word? This is not acceptable. For many reasons...

Folks, please send your friendly but clear feedback to Apple via this form:
