Limited edition challenges
I didn’t receive the unity challenge for February. Did anyone else?

Sadly the logic behind the display of the limited Edition & Daily & Monthly challenge awards appears to have changed in one of the updates. Now the award is not displayed until the target has been reached, which means that unless you happen to know the day when the award is on and what the target is you will not see it unless you happen achieve the target by chance. To test this for yourself wait for the World Environment Day Challenge on 5th June and see if the award shows before you close your Stand Ring.

No Unity Challenge, or Lunar New Year. Quite a few of the challenges have dropped off over the years.

Correct, but completing it has been limited to this day only.
No Lunar New Year, no Unity Challenge, and is looking like there won't be a Heart Health month challenge either. IDK what they are doing. It's still a major category of awards/badges, but they just quit doing them?

I noticed that, too but not on my Watch. I saw it under the "Go for It" section of the Fitness app on my iPhone. It didn't appear greyed out in the Limited Edition Challenges but it showed up once I completed the challenge. Will be checking out that section on a regular basis from now on. :-)
You force start them if they are not there to begin with. They'll come back.

I briefly saw the special challenges in January and have met their requirements but haven’t been awarded them. No:
”Ring in the new year 2024”
”Lunar New Year - Dragon”
”Black Unity”
It’s a shame to put in the work and not get rewarded
My limited edition challenges category was completely gone from the fitness app for days and there was a lonely National Parks award from 2022 left on my watch though I should have had about 20 more. Weird.
Now suddenly at 11:59 PM EST on February 14, 2024 all the limited edition challenges reappeared on both my watch and iPhone. Yay! I even got the Feb 14 heart health award.
There’s still no sign of the lunar new year challenge or unity challenge. Fingers crossed that they’ll also mysteriously pop up.
Good to know the issue appears at least partially fixed and that it wasn’t anything I to mess up my challenge record.
I think we may need to get use the idea of there not being as many this year.
based on previous years attrition rate is losing two a year? Let’s hope this wrong and Apple is suffering a temporary slip!

This has happened to me quite a few times but it seems to be whenever there's a new challenge in some cases. It usually comes back after a few days. You have to be careful with uninstalling though I think it prompts to avoid that because it will delete you past progress. I dont know if thats still the case though now.
P.S. That is what I have sent to Apple just now:
"Please bring back the Limited Edition Challenges. Today is March 8, 2024, and now the Limited Edition Challenge for International Women's Day 2024 is also missing.
Before that, in February 2024, we were already missing the Lunar New Year Dragon and Black Unity Challenges.
I had successfully completed every single International Women's Day challenge since 2018.
And now no challenge at all? That's very disappointing and frustrating!
Therefore, I kindly ask you to bring these Limited Edition Challenges back as soon as possible. That would be a small thing for Apple. But for many users it means a lot.
