I didn’t receive the unity challenge for February. Did anyone else?

Sadly the logic behind the display of the limited Edition & Daily & Monthly challenge awards appears to have changed in one of the updates. Now the award is not displayed until the target has been reached, which means that unless you happen to know the day when the award is on and what the target is you will not see it unless you happen achieve the target by chance. To test this for yourself wait for the World Environment Day Challenge on 5th June and see if the award shows before you close your Stand Ring.

🐲 wow very disappointed-no Lunar New Year badge to earn it’s the year of the Dragon and also no Healthy Heart badge-why are all these badges disappearing-it keeps me going to earn a badge and it’s fun to see them appear in your Fitness app-your Apple Watch team is going down the drain-looks like I’m going to have to purchase an Omni Ring-at least they are consistent. I have many friends that have made this change because Apple Watch is letting them down in the Fitness app meaning badges medallions consistency with these challenges. Very sad 😢 Apple is losing customers ☹️ Bye Bye Apple 👋

I just want to add in how disappointed I am by this as well. Last year I had a goal to earn all monthly and limited edition badges, and it was so satisfying each time I earned one. When I reached my goal at the end of 2023 I was so proud of myself and I was very motivated to do it again this year. I’m so sad to be missing the Lunar New Year, Unity, and Heart Health this year. I really hope the team in charge of this steps it back up or I may also be looking for a new product.

It's sad that these cultural events (and they are events and cultural recognition) are not being recognized anymore. Who made that decision? Did someone complain that they were given badges when others were not? Then add badges for more events, don't take them away. IMHO I'm in Canada, and we don't get badges for Thanksgiving or Rememberance Day either. They're fun to collect. Please bring them back.

I tried the typical suggestions short of completely clearing and resetting my watch. The limited edition challenge badges weren’t showing in the fitness app at all for at least a few days. The badges came back when I checked at 11:59 PM EST on February 14, though they had not been there minutes before. The badges now also include the 2024 heart challenge which I had completed by virtue of doing my usual workout routine.

I have a discrepancy between my iPhone and the watch on my longest move streak and when. My phone correctly says 603 days ending September 7, 2023 (I had to take a couple of days off for back surgery) with 152 days in the current streak. My watch stubbornly says my longest streak was 527 days ending on September 20, 2023. The watch is correct with my current streak of 152 days.

As long as the data on my iPhone are correct and presumably also correct in the iCloud, I can live with the watch being wrong.

I talked to the Genius Bar people at the Apple Store who were puzzled and suggested that my watch might eventually correct itself. That was about three months ago.
