My iPhone keeps asking to use my location

I have the same issue. iOS keeps losing my location access settings for Weather, Stocks, Maps, Calendar. It seems to be affecting most if not all Apple apps but not third party apps.

This problem also ends up causing Apple Watch Weather complications to disappear.

Also, it seems to have messed up my Apple Watch as periodically some off the apps (e.g. weather, music) disappear as well as the associated complications in the watch face. This update has really ruined the user experience

This exact thing happened to me last week as soon as I exited from a flight. Everything was perfect and it affected my phone & watch. Affecting Weather, Navigation & Calendar. Can't find a way to fix it.

I'm seeing the same issue with the following apps: Weather, Stocks, Maps, Calendar and Reminders. I'm running iOS 17.5.1 and watchOS 10.5. I restarted both the phone and the watch and it continues to happen. The Weather app complications for the watch occur the most frequently.

I have both iPhone and Apple Watch updated and I am having the same issues. I also cannot find “Weather” app in list in settings but CAN find it when I search Location and select “ Location Privacy & Security” and then can pick Always allow but it reverts back shortly after. Please fix this, Apple!

I have an Apple Watch and use Apple Car Play in my vehicle. This location bug is driving me crazy. The mentioned apps in this post ask multiple times a day for location to be shared. The suggestions here have not work for me. I have iOS 17.5.1. Anyone else have a fix?

This Is exactly my experience. These apps and complications are being inconsistent, which hinders functionality to a great degree, and is very frustrating. Combined with the persistent spammy location permission requests, and I'm like why do I even own fancy Apple tech? I request a fix.

Same for me!! After updated my iPhone 15 pro to 17.6 (before work smoothly) started this annoying issue! I have tried everything (resettled configurations too) .. unfortunately can’t find a fix.

This is the worst update I have received.. buggy and drain battery too..

This issue just started happening on my devices. I see it has been reported since Feb. 2024. Help, it is annoying; I feel for those of you that it has been going on for months! My watch won't let me delete the weather app. OMG it just asked me while I am typing!

I tried turning off all the devices and Turing them on again. My devices are current on their software Updates. I don't see in the string that Apple has provided a fix. What next?

So obviously lots of you have been having this issue for a while, but I just started having this issue a few days ago. I recently moved to a new state/new city and use my Maps constantly while I am still learning my way around. I really need a fix for this. It is stressing me out.

Same thing is happening to me exactly as you describe, although it only started when I upgraded to 17.3.1. So annoying!

Just to update, this issue suddenly resolved for me a few days ago with no apparent intervention.
