Hi i have a macbook pro 2016 which is working great but needs a new cover. My question is are the A1708 and the A1706 covers the same and compatible with each other to fir my device? thanks

not sure what you are referring to when you say "new cover"...
this is what I see, two thunderbolt ports vs. four thunderbolt ports—
besides the internal guts, this would be a upper case difference...
Are the MacBook Pro covers A1708 and A1706 identical?
