Backlight not working

when i power my 2018 macbook air on my backlight turns on but when i log into and get to the desktop my backlights shut off and i can't turn them back on. i reset the vram and did all the other stuff that was talk about but nothing has changed. does anyone know anything??

My keyboard backlight works on the Lock Screen but it disappears when I log in So I have a problem as the title says my keyboard backlight works on the lock screen but then doesn't work anymore after I press enter after typing my password. I tried installing Karabiner but it didn't work so I don't know what to do now? Btw I use macOS Sonoma. Even in the settings there is no option to adjust the brightness or to change the light sensor. I tried being in the darkest room possible bot the keyboard backlight refuses to work and I tried f6 and fn+f6. Thank you for the response. I almost forgotten it is an MacBook from 2019 it os an a1932

Macbook Pro keyboard backlight not working when logged in My Macbook Pro 2018 keyboard backlight stopped working. However, it still lights up on the login screen. Once I'm logged in, Touch Bar buttons don't respond, and neither does the manual option on Control Centre. I have tried both usually suggested resets but nothing happened. Can anyone help?

Since we have no idea what "...and did all the other stuff that was talk about..." how about you fill us in on what that was so we can try to help you.
