1Phone 14 Pro Cuts Out on First Ring on Incoming Calls

My iPhone rings for a second, about a fraction of a note, and then goes completely silent. You can still see the person calling on the screen screen, no sound is coming out of iPhone. I have tried everything short of a factory reset, which I am trying to avoid. I turned off the attention awareness feature

I just began noticing this shortly after a recent update.

The phone is laying down when this happens, and not in my hands, nor am I looking at it. 

I've literally done all steps I could to resolve this... 

I've checked all my settings.

Under Sounds and Vibration Patterns, I've made sure its set to Ringtone.

I turned the phone off for 10 minutes, then back on again.
