Will my Apple Card be charged for all my Apple purchases even though I don’t have it set up as my default card?

Maybe that’s where I’m still a little confused. What’s the difference? I think I was referring to wallet.

Wallet is used with Apple Pay, and buying from merchants including Apple, when you use your iPhone, Watch, or iPad to buy stuff.

Here is how to use Apple Pay to pay for stuff from Apple or elsewhere:

Make purchases using Apple Pay - Apple Support

Apple ID purchases are handled differently, and not through Wallet app. Whichever payment card you have associated with your Apple ID is what will be used when buying stuff with your Apple ID:

Add a payment method to your Apple ID - Apple Support
