PDF from my documents on iPad are deleted

Translated : It just happened to me that I took the iPad to put on a series and I was curious to see the notes I made in PDF in the Files app, and I realized that all the documents that were saved in the folder where I have my notes for all the subjects have been deleted, I just lost all the notes.

It appears that they are in recent but they do not have an exact location and it does not allow me to extract them in any way.

The same thing happened to me a while ago, the truth is that either this is fixed or I'm going to go back to the paper and pencil and use the iPad as a cutting board.

Here are some steps you can take to try and recover your PDF files:

1. Check Recently Deleted:

- In the Files app, navigate to the "Recently Deleted" folder. Sometimes, deleted files are moved here temporarily before being permanently deleted. If you find your PDF files in this folder, you can select them and choose to restore them to their original location.

2. Search for Files:

- Use the search functionality within the Files app to search for the names of your PDF files. Sometimes, files may still be present on the device but may not be visible in their original location.

3. Check iCloud Backup:

- If you have iCloud Backup enabled on your iPad, there may be a chance that your PDF files were backed up to iCloud. You can check your iCloud backup to see if your files are included there and restore them from the backup.

4. Restore from Other Backups:

- If you have backed up your iPad using other methods, such as iTunes or a third-party backup solution, you can attempt to restore your PDF files from those backups.

5. Contact Apple Support:

- If you're unable to recover your PDF files using the above methods, I recommend reaching out to Apple Support for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional guidance or troubleshooting steps to help recover your lost files.

In the meantime, it's a good idea to regularly back up your important documents to prevent data loss in the future. I hope you're able to recover your PDF files successfully.
