Headphone limited warranty

Okay so I have some headphones and I been noticing that something came loose in them after a while of use and I was wondering if it will be covered by my limited warranty and if so would I need proof of purchase to get a replacement or repair? I would just like to know before I have to bike to get it fixed also I’m wondering if it will be free

They booked me in to a 3rd party authorised apple repairer. They contacted Apple and sent me this by email.... "I have had a chat with Apple and they have confirmed that we are unable to cover your Beats under a warrantable repair due to the missing screws. The only option we are able to provide would be shipping to Apple for repair at the cost of £189. If you would not like to proceed, I can prepare your Beats for collection in-store." £189 was the purchase price!! I would have thought this should be covered under warranty!! I have emailed asking for more detailed reasons as to why it is not covered but no response.

Beats Solo3 Wireless repair and warranty Purchase a pair of Beats Solo3 Wireless headphones back in May. Right ear died recently (seems an extremely common occurrence). On my iPhone, under Bluetooth info for headphones it says they are under warranty until March of next year. Only closest “authorized” service center is Best Buy, but they told me that even under warranty it would cost more to fix than to buy new ones (and would I like to buy some?) Is this just Best Buy B.S.? Closest Apple Store is 2 hrs. away. Does anyone know if I can get these repaired without it costing as much as the headphones? Can I just mail them to Apple?

Let's start with which exact headphones you are referring to? If it is a Beats model, Apple provides a one year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. If you believe this to be the case, an Apple Technician will still need to examine the headphones to verify that would be the cause ... and should that be the result, then you may find that you can get these headphones repaired or replaced at little or no cost to you.
