Issue with Apple Pay

My Apple pay suddenly stopped working. It doesn’t work on any card machines or any card I use. I’ve tried removing all cards and adding them again which hasn’t helped. Another thing I noticed is that i used to be able to put my phone next to someone else’s and it would share contact but that also doesn’t seem to work anymore.
