Itunes does not recognize ipod

Itunes no longer recognizes ipod nano. No problem with iphone, ipad, etc. Looked at possible solutions but none work. Win11 & latest version of Itunes. Have 2,000+ songs would like to access.

ipod not showing in apple music or itunes I'm trying to update my ipod nano, but it won't appear in either apple music or itunes. it appears in windows explorer. I have already tried: uninstalling, rebooting, installing itunes and apple music uninstalling ipod drivers (ipod not plugged in at the time), normally a popup appears for itunes asking if i want to itunes to connect to ipod Reformatted ipod in windows But nothing has happened

Try iOS device not showing in iTunes for Windows - Apple Community. Despite the title the same steps should help with older devices too.
