Touch id not working due to injured finger.

I cut across my index finger and there is a scar so touch id no longer works. I need to use touch id to access certain areas of security in order to change my touch id finger. Is there another way to do try his? Thanks.

You can delete your current fingerprint without using Touch ID. Go to Settings > Touch ID & Passcode > Finger 1 and tap "Delete Fingerprint."

You can then add a different finger as Finger 1 if you want.

You can also add a second finger, with or without deleting the current one.

You can also not add a fingerprint and use your passcode instead of a fingerprint.
