Running Mac iOS Big Sur. Photos stop at 2017 but theses 2024. where are my recent photos?
Do you maybe have two libraries, and they got switched? If you close Photos and then option-click the Photos icon, you will get a dialog that shows shows all your libraries and allows you to switch among them.

I'm not sure what happened. You certainly don't want to delete stuff! When I option-click the Photos icon I get this:
I have several libraries that hold different stuff, so it gives me a list and shows me the path location of each.
So what exactly is happening?
