hi. I have been using my iPhone’s personal hotspot. Let’s say 5 hours per day. Will it affect my battery health? I bought my iPhone 6 months back and now my battery health is 88. My battery health is seeming to drop gradually as 4 days ago it was 89. What can I do about it?

There is no way to stop battery health decline. As I said above, the harder you work a battery, the faster it declines. When battery health in your iPhone dips to 80% or less (which it absolutely will), it will then be time to pay Apple to replace the battery.
The harder you work a battery, the quicker the battery chemically ages, so Battery Health declines. 5 hours a day of using a personal hotspot would most definitely be a battery intensive activity.
