Does having a silicone sleeves on Apple Pencil drains the battery faster overnight even when it is docked in iPad pro12.9

No, why would an external silicone sleeve have any effect on the battery?
Unless the silicone sleeve prevents the Pencil form actively charging when docked to the iPad, it would should have no effect on the battery.
Does the sleeve have a cutout for the magnetic connection?
