Account recovery after 2 weeks - is it successful?

Very irritated and confused. Lost my iPhone probably in an Uber yesterday and was not able to recover it.

i have also lost my original Apple ID credentials and haven’t been able to recover them - desperate to recover it so I can retrieve all my data and all the previous photos of my children.

i have cancelled my phone SIM card and got a new one with the same nb and put it into a spare iPhone. l then proceeded to create a new Apple ID with my old number as wanted to able to load the WhatsApp App to get back in touch with society at large. But now I am a bit worried - is it ok to have 2 Apple IDs with the same phone number? Is it going to impede my account recovery? Really hoping I can recover my Apple ID in 2 weeks time.
