How to Restore Auto-play Feature for Songs on MacBook Pro

I have downloaded over a hundred CDs onto my 2017 MacBook Pro, and for years I could initiate an album just by clicking on the first song; all the remaining songs would automatically cue up and play. Over the last several months, if I click on any song, hoping for the following songs to play, the song plays over and over again, not advancing. I have to manually advance through the song.

This also occurs with CDs I've tried to play from the external Apple CD drive. Any thoughts appreciated.
