AirPlay on AppleTV from iPad

When I AirPlay from my iPad Pro 12.9(3rd Generation) to AppleTV it won’t goes in full screen. Tell me how to do AirPlay in full screen?

AirPlay full screen issue I have a question. When I airplay from my iPhone and turn my phone sideways for full screen the airplay fits full screen on my tv. When I do it from the iPad from the same website it’s not full screen it’s like windowed. I’d say it’s about 3/4 full screen.

Iphone AirPlay on full screen doesnt work. AirPlay on full screen doesnt work. Whenever I use airplay, to send the video to my TV it doesnt work when it is on full screen. I am sending a screenshot of the message that appears, the video keeps running, but no audio nor video is shown on my TV. This was a know issue by Apple as we can see here on this thread: iPhone won't Airplay in full screen - Apple Community It is the exact same issue, but a user found a way to workaround this (as mentioned in the discussion above). which as, put the video on picture in picture, and after that, changing the video to fullscreen, but now, not even this workaround is not working. It is a shame that apple is so lazy and unable to create an oficial workaround or to even acknowledge this bug and oficialize the workaround found by the user at the time, but now with IOS 26.1 this workaround is not even working anymore. Shame on Apple. I wonder if anyone else found a solution for this already (besides rolling back IOS verison because this IOS 26.1 is awful and ugly).

when you use airplay mirror then it littery mirrors the ipads display to the tv and since the ipad is not widescreen like your tv it pans out as you experience

to get what you want then you need to airplay from the app that you are watching the material you wish to view, it's not something all apps support through

if the appletv is a newer version HD(4g) or newer you will likely have an easier time to go to app store on the appletv and look for the app you wish to view content from
