I've reset printer system and added printer which is recognized with green dot.
every attempt to print is halted due to "filter" error
Trying to re-install latest downloaded Leximark driver [ x204n ] results in "Installation Failed" message.

Lexmark support was excellent & patient.
Remove Printer / Add it back selecting Generic PostScript Printer choice in pop up menu available when adding ... problem resolved :-). no driver installation by Me required.
My X204n is 15 year old printer and is a VERY solid copier/scanner/fax clearly well built .
