iCloud 15 not syncing Calendars and Contacts to Outlook
Here we go again. Similar to the problem under iCloud 14, trying to sync Calendars and Contacts to Microsoft Outlook 2021 on a Windows 11 machine gives an "iCloud for Windows Installation Error". A dalog pops up saying
"iCloud for Windows did not install properly. To repair it, you need to go to Apps and fetures, select iCloud Outlook from the app list and click Modify. When prompted, click on Repair."
As with iCloud 14, this does absolutely nothing to fix the problem. (A user on a Microsoft forum had found missing registry entries under iCloud 14, but they don't appear to work here. The other suggestion is to use iCloud 7.2, but that's designed for Windows 7 and 8. According to that forum post, the problem went away on September 23 thanks to an apparent update to iCloud 14 that was never noted in a changelog. But now it's here again.
The iCloud plugin is active in Outlook and the iCloud control panel reports that syncing is "on" with a green light. There are no contacts or calendar appointments, which have no problem syncing to my iPad or iPhone.
