Plug-In Downloads not showing in effects list in Logic Pro X, but show as validated in Plug-In Manager

I'm using a M2 2023 MacBook Air 16gb with Logic Pro X. I downloaded two different third party plug-ins, and they show up in Logic's Plug-In Manager, but when I try to use them, only the Apple plug-ins show up in the drop down menu of the track effects. I have tried resetting, re-downloading, re-validating, clearing caches, and I'm still stuck. I'm not sure what type of file an AU component should be, but it shows up as a plain-text file which may be the problem... idk. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi

Sky Keys appears to be a Software Instrument plugin?

To load it, you'll need to use a Software Instrument track, then load via the Instrument slot
