While that is correct, that does not mean that your nano will not Sync with iTunes. It will, or at least, it should.
However, there are things to take into account:
- you cannot copy music on the nano into your new iTunes Library
- if you try to Sync the iPod with the new Library, you should see a message telling you that all the media on the iPod will be deleted and only what is in your new library will be added. Did you see that message?
- what you should be doing is copying the complete iTunes music folder (it may be named iTunes Media) from the old computer and adding it to your new computer. Have you done that?
