Bigpond email not working on iMac with macOS Bis Sur

It tells me it can't verify user or password, yet it works on my phone.

Much like many e-mail services have changed to Application Specific Passwords when accessing their e-mail services


You may require checking with Big Pond if they too have done this change


Seek specific instructions from Big Pond as to how to create the Application Specific Password for their services


Sign in to apps with your Apple ID using app-specific passwords


In the above, when a user uses a Non Apple Mail Application to access iCloud mail - one is required to have the Password Generated


Even Google has implemented similar
