iPhone battery percentage indicator incorrect

hi, my phone has been acting up for the longest. it’ll be on sixty percent or higher then randomly power off, then turn back on and be around ten percent. however after another power off it’ll be back to sixty or so.sometimes it gets so bad it won’t ever turn on. a factory reset didn’t even work. please help!!
