iPhone 15 iOS 17.3.1 still overheating?

My 15 is really overheating I was so worried at a hotel last night i turned it off and put in the fridge didn’t want to start a fire I am now getting shocked on the bottom of the phone where charging point is

Anyone else getting this I thought the Iphone 15 was meant to be great

Just got my 15 Pro and it’s the same. Literally hot to touch on occasion and battery drains faster than any iPhone I’ve ever owned.

Anyone having tried SravanKra's solution ??

Would be really helpful to us all if 1-2 of you do it !

I faced overheating issue but indeed always did a restore !!

Returned the 14pro but today I need a new iPhone and that overheating issue is the only reason I simply cannot buy any other iPhone Pro (and this since the 14 pro release date)

That overheating issue is just insane and unacceptable from apple. Just blindly passing my fingers above the phones at any shop I was able to tell which ones were Pro and Normal ones !!

Same as everyone else. My iPhone 15 Pro overheats big time. Like piping hot especially on the volume button side of phone. Also heats up real bad when updating apps on App Store, charging and other scenarios. Have 17.3.1 running but was doing the same on previous iOS versions.

It has been three days since I bought 15. On the second day when I put on charge,Noticed a slight increase in heat,I thought it was summer season. But today it got very hot even I used it normally, I thought the problem was only with this phone, was about to go store and get it replaced after my brother said,Most of the Iphone15 users have been facing this issue. I googled it today and found out that we all have the same issue. Apple please fix this issue😫

I have an iPhone 15 pro max and it’s been overheating since I bought it. It’s currently running iOS 17.4.1 and the phone still overheats with normal use. It is currently overheated everytime everyminute even when im not using it🤦🏻‍♂️

Apple messed up on this one, please fix this issue

My iPhone 15 Pro Max is overheating even though it was used only for a few minutes. It is so frustrating and so scary to use. Any idea how to fix this? I have already tried everything from YouTube and still not working.

Same issue for me as well. Terrible heat in the back of the phone. Can’t even hold. #15PM

I am also facing this heat issue in my 15 PM while clicking capture button and camera. Also in normal gaming. Will apple fix this in the next software update? Any idea!

Yep! Didn’t have the problem originally like many people were reporting. But with this latest update. Definitely running hot.

Same here. It is enough to make several pictures on iPhone 15 pro (iOS 17.3.1) and then it is overheated. So disappointed.
