cant sign in to messages and FaceTime

Originally I couldn’t send any messages so I tried signing out and creating a new password and I can’t log back in. Same thing with factetime now. I have created a new Apple ID and it still won’t let me sign into the app with my new account also on FaceTime. I have tried updating my ipad and I don’t know what else to do

any ideas?

If you can’t turn on or sign in to iMessage or FaceTime - Apple Support


If you continue to experience difficulties, you would be best advised to seek assistance directly from from Apple Support. You can contact the Support Team using the Support link at top-right or bottom-left of this page.
