I completed the iOS 17.3.1 update two days ago and ever since then my back camera and flashlight won't work. I have turned my phone on and off, completed a reset, completed a hard reset, and completed a factory reset and NOTHING is working. I have not dropped my phone and it is in no way damaged, this problem literally only started once the update was completed. Looking for advice on what I can do.
An update: My phone is under warranty. I took it in and they didn't replace the phone, but replaced the module in the top corner that has then camera lenses in it, which is also where the flashlight is. Works now. Thats the only solution.
I have this problem, I took my phone into Apple and they tried to charge me £170 for an issue that Apple caused with IOs 17, wonder if this is how Apple get people to buy new phones!
Same happened to me after updating IOS 17.3.1. I have tried everything, my iphone 14 pro max back cam and flash still not working 🥹
Same here. Yesterday, I did a Factory Reset. The Rear Camera and Flashlight were restored. Today, both are dead. Obviously a software problem after last update.
