1Password to Apple Passwords

I have been using 1Password for some time now, and as much as I think it's a decent service I have noticed that I can store the two types of data I store in there already solely on Mac/iPhone.

I have an iPhone and an old MacBook Pro running OS X 10.3 which is where I feel I could become unstuck.

Is there a way to move from 1Password to Apple Passwords/Keychain here, and if so can someone point me in the right direction?

I have made sure websites are entered for all logins as is required, and I will also run through to make sure all ' marks in the export file are sorted before importing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

if your third party 1Password support falls short of assisting you...

I would look for an export option.

In Keychain Access.app you have a dropdown menu— both import and export feature...

Have you reviewed this 1Password support article on exporting passwords? Exporting 1Password Data

You'll note that only passwords and logins can be exported from 1Password, and that you'll want to export it as a csv file, as that's what Keychain needs.

This article describes how to import passwords into Keychain. Import and export keychain items using Keychain Access on Mac - Apple Support

My Mac is updated as much as it can be - hence coming here for any help that is out there. 10.3.x is as new as I can get.

According to this article, you can update beyond 10.3.x: MacWorld article on MacOS versions requirements

This discussion topic describes how to install older MacOS versions that aren't showing up when you check Software Update on your Mac: Instaling Big Sur on a late 2013 retina m… - Apple Community

(Something doesn't make sense here, though. You've said you have a 2013 MacBook Pro running MacOS 10.3. From what I can see, MacOS 10.3 (Panther) was released in 2003. Can you post a screen shot of what you see when you click on the Apple menu-->About This Mac? Please black out the serial number to hide anything personally identifiable.)

I can only assume it’s due to being an old version of Mac OSX - as it’s all updated to MacOS which isn’t supported on my 2013 MBP.

If you're running MacOS 10.3, as you mentioned in your original post, you might try updating to MacOS Big Sur (MacOS 11.7). Keychain may have had some changes back then that allowed for better importing capabilities.

(Big Sur is as far as you can update that Mac).

Thanks for clearing that up! And you're right...you can't update your MacOS beyond where it's at now.

The only other thing I can suggest would be to post a question on agilebits.com's support forum. This forum (a rarity in this industry, apparently), is staffed by agilebits employees. Explain pretty much what you've explained here, including the MacOS version, MBP model, and what you've tried (unsuccessfully) thus far. (If it was me, I might "forget" the part about wanting to leave 1Password behind, and just say I'd like to make sure my 1Password data was in Keychain).

Perhaps someone else who reads this thread will be able to offer additional suggestions.
