Is PDF Reader Pro - Adobe PDF Files a worthwhile app for my iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2013)?
I use Pages to create Documents with Images and Text. I can save them as pdf. But will PDF Reader Pro help me edit those pdfs?

Yes, if you need to edit the PDF itself instead of editing the original Pages document and re-saving as PDF.
Also, understand that "editing" a PDF is not the same as editing the original document. You have more control in the original document. Despite claims re: editing text in PDFs these apps are oriented more toward annotation than actual editing.
