Faulty keyboard

My keyboard suddenly had some keys move to different keys. The a is now under q and the q is under the a. The period I must use shift comma. The m is under the colon key. And typing the numbers is like this; &é"'(§è!çà How can I reset my keyboard I can't find the question mark

Go to system settings > keyboard > text input > edit > input sources and use the minus button to get rid of the item called French. You should have just one item on the list, and it should be called US or ABC if you are typing English.


If your MacOS is old, you go to system preferences > keyboard > input sources
