Hello, I may have been scammed through my Amazon account. After speaking with the fraud department at my bank they suggested that I get my phone cleaned at an Apple shop. Is there any other way of doing this without having to go through an Apple shop? Any feedback will be much appreciated. Thanks

Hi, I’ve just spoken with Apple help desk. The scammers asked me to download an app and I was concerned that this app was running in the background and they could see everything that I was using on my phone. However Apple helped me find the App which I have now removed. The scammers contacted me to ask if I had placed an order for 2 iPhones at a cost of £2000, I said no but they asked me to log into my Amazon account so that I could see the orders. They were there and every time I deleted the orders, they reappeared 10 seconds later. I have now changed my email and password so hopefully I will be ok now. Thanks

There is nothing to ‘clean’. If your phone isn’t jailbroken, it can’t be infected by anything.
I don't know what you mean by "cleaned?" How were you scammed? The more details (don't share any personal information) the better able are we to help you.
Not sure what jailbroken means m? but I think I am ok now.
You've done the right things and you should be fine. Scammers are evil to the core.
