I bought new iPhone through ATT after losing iPhone . Needed immediate access so had to get new Apple ID new email and make new password. Able to save all photos and hx including apps. But now with updating , if prior email comes up and that is no longer my Apple ID or email , it shows “ incorrect verification “ nothing I do fixes this issues
This is why the best answer is almost never to create a second Apple ID. It's not clear from your post why that was necessary. If you just did this recently, I would recommend going back to the original Apple ID.
Apps are forever tied to the Apple ID under which they were purchased. You will not be able to update them with the new Apple ID.
You can set up Family Sharing between the two Apple IDs.
