What is the Bit Rate and Sample Frequency of Voice Memo recordings?

The only answer to this question on this forum is from 2014, and refers to a website that doesn't exist, and doesn't seem to be accurate anymore.

What bit rate and sample frequency are the compressed and lossless recordings in the Voice Memos app?

I ask because I'm attaching two clips together in Audition and I want to make sure I'm saving the final version in the same format as they were originally recorded.

I just dictated some audio in the Voice Memo app on macOS 14.3.1. I clicked and dragged that .m4a audio to my Desktop where I did the following in the Terminal:

exiftool *.m4a

The reported average bitrate was 119 kbps and the sample rate was 48000.

The recording was done through my attached Logitech C920 HD webcam perched on top of my 32-in display and M2 Mac Mini Pro.
