iPad Air (1st gen) won't get into DFU mode.

I am trying to put my iPad into DFU mode and when I try it either thinks it rebooted or stays in DFU mode for a few seconds and then fails to restore because it gets out of DFU mode and then goes into iOS.

I did what it told me to exit dfu mode, but the iPad just restarted. There is no image on the sreen, even when the battery is dead. Unable to turn on or reset my iPad My ipad won't trun on suddenly, I attempted forced restart with volume up down and pressing main button for 20ish second, which didn't work, I connected the device to my laptop and used apple device app on window to try another forced restart or whatever, but it said my ipad is in DFU mode and need to be backed up, but it doesn't show how to back up, and when I try to reset the ipad in the device app, it says I can't use this ipad's software now. Are you attempting to resolve a particular problem with your iPad? Unless your iPad fails to start to a running state - and your iPad must be restored - DFU serves no useful purpose.
