I have to restart my Apple app quite a bit and I wondered if upgrade to Generation 4 might help

A1842 is Apple TV 4K (1st generation) (2017)
A2843 is Apple TV 4K (3rd generation) (2022, latest model), not Generation 4.
‘4th generation’ is often used for the last non-4K model (A1625: 2015).
