Cannot connect to file server on iPhone

I have a file server that I can connect to from my iPad, laptop, desktop, and other family member’s iPhones however, when I try to connect to it from my phone it throws a error with no information and I cannot read nor write on the server. I tried to reinstall the files app, I restarted my phone, I made sure I was connected to the correct WiFi network, nothing has worked. I’m 100% sure the username and password is correct because if I get it wrong it says authentication error and I’m 100% sure I have read and write access because it used to work on this phone before. I havent changed any permission settings on the network file server.
