refund for subscription. Apple vs developer

Hello everyone . Someone Please help me and explain.

I was charged in appstore for the exspressVPN app for 12 months ($133). this is an accidental purchase.

I don't understand how the 12-month subscription got there.

i don't use this app on my phone. I applied for a refund immediately after I saw that money was missing from my card on february 14.

this is a lot of money for me now.

But Apple denied it and denied the appeal. I don't do returns every month, the last one was half a year ago.


the developer of expressVPN is ready to return my money, I wrote to them by email and communicated with them. They have a 30 day money back guarantee. and I haven't used their app for more than a couple of minutes they can check screen time.


ExspressVPN ready come back my money, but can't refund my money because I bought on AppStore. ExspressVPN sayd: - We are unable to request a refund for you because Apple doesn't give app developers access to App Store’s customer billing information. This policy is not specific to ExpressVPN and applies to any in-app purchase that you make on your device. All refund requests must be made via the App Store.


AppStore doesn't help me and rejects me. Although the developer is willing to refund the money they have a 30 day warranty on their website.

I have a check from the bank with payment and a check in the AppStore application.
