Apple wants to replace motherboard instead of providing new iphone

Apple warranty either provides for a repair if a phone can be repaired or replaced with a refurbished replacement phone if the phone can't be repaired. There's no action to take. This is no different than it would be for any electronic device you purchase from any manufacturer. I also believe you asked the very same question last night and you were provided the very same answer last night.

Apple is under no obligation to give you a brand new phone during the warranty period.

Arguing here is pointless. This is a user to user only forum, which no one from Apple participates. If you aren't pleased with the provision of the standard Apple Warranty, take that up with Apple India.

No one here can change Apple warranty provisions in any way.

lobsterghost1 is correct. Apple has the option of either repairing or replacing.

The phone you're giving them to repair is not a new phone. It is a used phone. Even if they replaced the phone, it would most likely be with a refurbished phone (identical to new).
